BP has finally stopped the oil spill....for now

Although BP is 85 days and 184 million gallons too late, the gushing oil has been capped for now. Engineers are now monitoring the pressure coming out of the well to determine if the well is intact. If the pressure drops, this means more bad news as there is probably another leak underground.

Does that mean BP is off the hook? Not by a far, far stretch. The oil has not completely stopped flowing, and plans to build relief wells are underway. BP hopes to finish building the wells by late August, but the environmental, ecological, and health damage caused by the oil spill will unfortunately stretch into the next decade.

If you want to help out in your own small way, here are some great ideas.
